April is the Month of the Military Child!
This special celebration was established to underscore the important role children play in the Armed Forces community. During April, Army Garrisons, Child and Youth Services programs and Child Development Centers plan numerous events ranging from picnics and parades to recreational fairs and fun festivals — all to recognize and applaud Families and their children for the daily sacrifices they make in supporting America's Army.
