We provide quality full-time and hourly childcare for children 6 weeks through 5 years of age. Small-ratio groups are available for addressing the individualized needs of each child. Our highly trained staff have strong educational foundations for early childhood practices and theories. Our staff insures that all children receive the proper nurturing, respect and social interaction skills regardless of family background, race, gender or culture. We give our children the opportunity to make friends, to explore and to experiment through a variety of play activities.  You can register at mcc.com for child care needs.

Curriculum

Our primary resource for curriculum development is Creative Curriculum’s Teaching Strategies. Our curriculum helps children become enthusiastic life-long learners. Our children should be encouraged to be active, inquisitive, and creative explorers. Our curriculum values the right of children to learn at their own pace and in the ways that are best for them. From the activities planned for children, to the environmental setting to the toys and materials selected and promoting of positive staff child interactions our curriculum fosters a nurturing environment and is designed to enhance learning opportunities for young children and to meet each child's individual needs.

Parent Advisory Council

Our Parent Advisory Council works cooperatively with Child Youth Services personnel and management to ensure quality care and services for children while fostering parent participation in special events, field trips and other activities. We encourage board members to make suggestions to our Management Team on issues regarding administrative policies and programs. Our meetings provide a forum for parent education, information sharing, and healthy positive discussion of issues relative to child and youth care. We also use our meetings as a venue for parent education trainings, educational events, and parental workshops.
